I met a friend at Irena's for a late breakfast and ordered the chicken crepe with a side salad. The crepe was tender and filled generously, while the salad added something fresh to the plate. We shared a slice of honey cake afterward, and it had a light sweetness that didn't feel overwhelming. The cafe was quiet enough for us to sit and talk for a while, which made the meal feel unhurried.

Stopped in after seeing it next to skrodek.reviews were great with pictures so I gave them a shot and they did not disappoint.sweet cheese pierogi,dill soup and stuffed cabbage were my favorites.very nice employees

I often go to Irena’s to purchase cakes, which are excellent, the cappuccino is my favorite. You can get them by the slice, 1/4 sheet, 1/2 sheet, whole, walk-in, preorder, so many options. Today I decided to change it up and have lunch at Irena’s Pastry & Bistro. I actually chose it more so because my husband was with me and he loves a good cup of espresso which I knew they had. We ordered the 8 piece pierogi & dill pickle soup. We chose a mix of their homemade pierogis which included meat, mushroom, potato cheese, sauerkraut, and farmers cheese, but you can choose any combination you want. It was my first time trying dill pickle soup, and it was pretty good. For coffee my husband had the cappuccino Viennese and I had a hazelnut cafe latte with oat milk. If you are not having lunch it’s a great place to get just coffee & dessert too. If you are in the Sterling Heights area, it’s worth stopping in and giving them a try!

This is, hands-down, one of my favorite bistros in Macomb. The pork chop sandwich is phenomenal, and the authentic Polish dishes never disappoint. Irene and her staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to make you feel right at home. If you're looking for a warm atmosphere and a real taste of Poland, this is the place to go!

Great little Polish Deli. Awesome pork chop sandwich. Kielbasa was terrific. Nice, friendly staff and a clean dining room.
